Acceptable Use Terms

For Authorized Users of the Recourse AI Platform

Version:  2.0            Effective Date:  16 March 2026

1.  Introduction and Scope

These Acceptable Use Terms ("Terms") govern the access to and use of the Recourse AI platform (the "Platform”).

In these Terms, "Client" means the organisation that has entered into an Agreement with Recourse AI and has granted you access to the Platform. These Terms apply to all individuals authorised by the Client to use the Platform ("Authorized Users"). Authorized Users are typically employees, contractors, or agents of the Client who use the Platform in connection with the Client’s business activities. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2.  Authorised Access and Account Security

2.1  Personal Access Credentials

Access to the Platform is granted on an individual, non-transferable basis. As an Authorized User, you must:

  • Keep your login credentials (username, password, and any multi-factor authentication details) strictly confidential.
  • Not share, disclose, or permit access to your account by any other person, including colleagues.
  • Log out of the Platform after each session, particularly when using shared devices.
  • Notify your organisation’s Platform administrator and Recourse AI immediately if you suspect your credentials have been compromised or your account accessed without authorisation.

2.2  Permitted Users Only

You must not access or attempt to access the Platform unless you have been formally designated as an Authorized User by the Client. Access to the Platform by any person not authorised under the MSA is prohibited.

3.  Permitted Uses of the Platform

You may use the Platform for the following purposes, subject to compliance with these Terms and applicable laws:

  • Generating and downloading Deliverables for internal business use within the Client’s organisation.
  • Participating in training sessions, workshops, or other activities facilitated through the Platform.
  • Communicating with Recourse AI support teams via Platform-integrated features.

4.  Prohibited Uses

You must not use the Platform in any manner that:

4.1  Compromises Data Integrity or Security

  • Attempts to access, modify, delete, or corrupt data belonging to other users, the Client, or Recourse AI.
  • Attempts to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security controls, authentication mechanisms, or access restrictions on the Platform.
  • Introduces viruses, malware, harmful code, or any other malicious software into the Platform or its connected systems.
  • Reverse engineers, decompiles, disassembles, or otherwise attempts to extract the source code, algorithms, models, or underlying logic of the Platform or its Software.

4.2  Mishandles Confidential or Personal Data

  • Inputs into the Platform any personal data, or confidential information that has not been authorised for use on the Platform by the Client.
  • Use outputs to create or enable third parties to create synthetic training data to develop or train AI models or systems that have substantially similar functionality to Recourse AI’s Services.

4.3  Causes Harm or Disruption

  • Uses the Platform in a manner that could damage, overburden, impair, or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure, or interfere with the use of the Platform by any other authorised user.
  • Engages in scraping, automated queries, crawling, or any other extraction of data from the Platform beyond what is provided through its standard functionality.
  • Uses the Platform for personal, commercial, or any other non-business purposes unrelated to the Client’s authorised use.

5.  Nature of AI-Generated Outputs

Important Notice Regarding AI-Generated Content

The Platform uses artificial intelligence and machine learning models to generate analytics, insights, recommendations, and other outputs. These outputs are intended to support and augment human decision-making and do not constitute medical, regulatory, legal, or professional advice. Authorized Users must apply appropriate professional judgement when reviewing and acting on any Platform output.

When using and sharing AI-generated outputs, Authorized Users must:

  • Review all outputs critically and assess their accuracy before relying on them for business decisions.
  • Not present AI-generated content as independently verified fact without appropriate human validation.
  • Be aware that AI-generated outputs may be imperfect, incomplete, or subject to inherent limitations, and should be treated accordingly.

6.  Reporting and Concerns

If you become aware of, or have reasonable concerns about, any misuse of the Platform, security incident, data breach, or violation of these Terms, you must report the matter immediately to your organisation’s designated Platform administrator or compliance contact, who will in turn notify Recourse AI.

7.  Amendments to These Terms

Recourse AI may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or the nature of the Services. The Client will be notified of material changes, and it is the Client’s responsibility to communicate updated Terms to its Authorized Users.

Recourse AI reserves the right to suspend or restrict access to the Platform where an Authorised User breaches these Terms or where continued access poses a security or operational risk.

Acknowledgement

By accessing the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Acceptable Use Terms.
